because the project is open-source, it means anyone can add things to the app. but, i want freewrite to remain as simple as possible. its meant to be very opinionated.
community releases are versions of freewrite that have an additional feature that may not fit into the base version of freewrite, but, are still fun or useful and deserve attention.
